Writing

  • Domain registration and blog post #1 (about Satrapi, 3-32) due by 9pm on Sun., Jan. 24. How to: Register for a domain through Emory at https://emorydomains.org/. It should cost $12. Install WordPress on your site, and email me at jcbleds@emory.edu with the URL of your website by the deadline. It’s a good idea to take care of the domain registration and WordPress installation ahead of the deadline since your blog post about Persepolis is due on your website by 9pm. Help pages on the process are available here: http://docs.emorydomains.org/. Here is the help page that explains how to install WordPress once you’ve registered your domain: http://docs.emorydomains.org/building_a_website/wordpress/installing_wordpress.
